Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Manager Intern to join our team through the NOHFC ! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will support various administrative functions, enhance customer interactions, and maintain a professional environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills while contributing to a vibrant workplace.

Responsibilities

Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and providing excellent customer service with professional phone etiquette.
Perform data entry tasks accurately using computer skills and software such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for bookkeeping and record-keeping purposes.
Organize and maintain filing systems—both physical and digital—to ensure easy retrieval of documents and records.
Support clerical duties such as proofreading documents, preparing correspondence, and managing schedules.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, tickets, driver paperwork and coordinate deliveries.
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently while maintaining excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred.
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; typing speed is a plus.
Previous clerical or administrative experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person.
Knowledge of filing procedures and basic proofreading techniques.
Familiarity with computer skills necessary for managing electronic records and correspondence.
