Full job description

Blue Harbour Therapy is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to be a part of a growing multidisciplinary healthcare office as an independent contractor.

This is an opportunity to build a caseload within an established, warm and welcoming clinical environment while working alongside like-minded professionals.

What We Offer

$80–$100/hour, based on experience and scope of practice
Opportunity to build a paediatric and adult caseload based on your interests and clinical strengths
Flexible scheduling: work together with us to determine the days and hours that best fit your availability and caseload. Opportunity to grow towards a full-time caseload, while remaining open to other arrangements for the right candidate
A professional, established office environment with access to a busy referral network
Input into the design and setup of your clinical space : help us create a room that works for the way you practice
Administrative support with scheduling and office operations
Opportunity to grow your caseload through referrals generated within the clinic and surrounding professional network

We are looking for someone who is interested not only in building their own caseload, but in becoming part of a collaborative professional community.

Qualifactions:

We are looking for an SLP who is:

Registered and in good standing with CASLPO
A graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
Experienced or interested in working with children and families
Comfortable working independently and managing their own clinical caseload
Committed to evidence-informed and ethical clinical practice
Strong in clinical documentation and communication
Comfortable collaborating with parents, caregivers, physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals
Organized, reliable, and professional
Interested in building a meaningful paediatric and adult caseload within a collaborative healthcare environment
Able to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last year

Experience With Any of the Following Is an Asset

Speech sound disorders/articulation
Receptive and expressive language
Language delays and disorders
Social communication/pragmatic language
Fluency/stuttering
AAC
Literacy and language-based learning difficulties
Neurodivergent children
Feeding/swallowing
School collaboration
