Job Summary

Join our vibrant bakery team as a Bakers Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help craft delicious baked goods and ensure smooth kitchen operations. In this energetic role, you'll support bakers in food preparation, cake decorating, packaging, and maintaining high standards of food safety. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for customers and a productive workspace for colleagues. Duties

Assist bakers with preparing ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling baked goods
Support cake decorating efforts with piping, icing, and finishing touches to create visually appealing treats
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards
Package baked items efficiently for retail display or customer orders, ensuring freshness and presentation
Maintain organization of kitchen supplies, ingredients, and baking tools to ensure smooth workflow
Contribute to food preparation tasks such as slicing, portioning, and garnishing baked products
Uphold food safety regulations by adhering to hygiene standards and cleaning schedules at all times

Skills

Experience in food preparation or baking is preferred; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and tools is a plus
Strong understanding of food safety practices within the food industry
Excellent customer service skills to create a friendly atmosphere for customers and colleagues
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
Competence in handling packaging materials and maintaining cleanliness standards throughout shifts
