Summary

'We are seeking a dedicated Deli/Bakery Manager to lead our deli and bakery sections at Foodsmiths in Perth Ontario. This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive top-quality products and excellent service, reflecting our company's mission and values. This leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a community-focused health food store.'
Responsibilities

' Oversee daily operations of the deli and bakery sections, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Manage staff training, and performance to maintain high standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Meet or exceed financial budgets
Coordinate inventory management, order products, and maintaining product freshness.
Ensure all Health and Safety protocols are in place and adhered to
Create postitive mutually beneficial relationships with our vendors
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.
Implement promotional activities to boost sales and enhance customer experience.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure product quality and availability.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in all areas of responsibility.

Qualifications

' Proven supervising or management experience in a food service or retail environment.

Strong knowledge of food preparation, safety standards, and bakery/deli operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Ability to operate POS systems effectively.
Customer-focused attitude with a passion for healthy foods.
Knowledge of food industry trends and best practices.
Relevant certifications in food safety are highly desirable.
