Full job description

We are currently hiring Traffic Control Persons (Flaggers) to support our client’s road construction projects across Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Quinte West and nearby regions. This is a seasonal opportunity with consistent hours and the chance to work outdoors in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Safely direct traffic around or near active worksites
Monitor road and traffic conditions to ensure safety for workers and the public
Communicate effectively with team members and other traffic control personnel
Perform additional duties as required to support site operations

Qualifications

Traffic Control Certification is required (training provided by GHRC)
Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a personal vehicle
Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites as locations change
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hour shifts)
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
