We're currently looking for an experienced Insurance Advisor III to join a successful, relationship-focused Co-operators agency in the Waterloo Region.

This is an exciting opportunity for an established insurance professional who is passionate about helping clients protect what matters most. You'll leverage your experience, relationship-building skills, and business development mindset to provide trusted advice while helping clients achieve greater financial security and peace of mind.

How You Will Create Impact

Deliver Trusted Advice

Provide personalized insurance solutions across home, auto, commercial and life insurance products.
Complete proactive insurance reviews and identify opportunities to enhance clients' coverage.
Help clients make informed decisions by providing advice they can trust.
Support clients through changing life circumstances by ensuring their protection evolves with their needs.

Build Strong Client Relationships

Develop and maintain long-term relationships through exceptional service and ongoing support.
Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for clients.
Create personalized experiences that foster loyalty and confidence.
Proactively engage clients to identify emerging needs and deliver meaningful solutions.
Strengthen relationships through consistent follow-up and professional communication.

Contribute to Agency Growth

Generate new business opportunities through referrals, networking, community involvement, prospecting, and relationship-building activities.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Build referral partnerships within the community and expand your professional network.
Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through multi-line conversations and solution-based recommendations.
Contribute to achieving individual and agency business goals.

Deliver Operational Excellence

Provide responsive, accurate, and professional client service.
Process policy changes, documentation, and client transactions efficiently and accurately.
Maintain detailed and compliant client records.
Follow through on client commitments and administrative activities in a timely manner.
Balance client service, relationship management, and business development responsibilities effectively.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of insurance industry experience.
Demonstrated success in sales, business development, client relationship management, or insurance advising.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities and opportunities.
Commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.

Licensing Requirements

OTL (Other Than Life) Licence
LLQP (Life Licence Qualification Program)
Candidates who currently hold one licence and are willing to obtain the other will be considered.

What You Need To Know

This role operates in a hybrid work environment, with two-three days per week in office.
Occasional evening availability may be required to support client needs, networking activities, and community events.
The successful candidate will actively contribute to both agency growth objectives and outstanding client experiences.
This role combines elements of business development, relationship management, and client service.
