Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, clerical, and human resources skills, with the ability to oversee daily office operations efficiently. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as vendor relationships. The Office Administrator will serve as the front desk point of contact, handle bookkeeping and payroll tasks, and support training and development initiatives to ensure smooth office functioning.

Responsibilities

Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Oversee clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
Maintain vendor relationships and manage procurement processes (Open Invoice)
Handle bookkeeping tasks using Sage 50, including invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record keeping
Process payroll accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies
Monthly GST preparation
Monthly Bank reconciliation
Ensure proper phone etiquette is maintained at all times
Organize office supplies, manage schedules, and support special projects as needed

Experience

Extensive office experience including clerical, administrative, or executive support roles
Proficiency in Sage 50 for bookkeeping and payroll processing
Experience with Open invoice an asset.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff, vendors, and clients
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, record keeping, and scheduling
Experience managing multi-line phone systems and providing exceptional phone etiquette
Demonstrated ability to handle vendor management and budgeting tasks efficiently

Pay: $3,500.00-$4,500.00 per month
