Préposé(e) aux bénéficiaires / Accompagnateur(trice) – Soutien à un adulte sur le spectre de l’autisme

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) préposé(e) aux bénéficiaires / accompagnateur(trice) attentionné(e), patient(e) et fiable afin d’offrir un soutien individuel à un adulte sur le spectre de l’autisme, au sein d’une résidence familiale privée.

La personne idéale possède de l’expérience auprès de personnes autistes ainsi qu’un réel intérêt pour les soins, l’accompagnement et le bien-être des autres.

Responsabilités

Fournir des soins personnels et une assistance individuelle, notamment pour :
Le bain et l’hygiène personnelle
L’habillement
Les soins corporels et la toilette
L’alimentation
Les activités de la vie quotidienne
Administrer les médicaments conformément aux prescriptions et tenir des dossiers de soins précis.
Assister la personne dans les exercices thérapeutiques et les routines recommandées par les professionnels de la santé.
Offrir un soutien émotionnel, de la compagnie et de l’encouragement.
Participer à des activités éducatives, récréatives et communautaires, selon les
besoins.

Exigences

Expérience significative auprès de personnes sur le spectre de l’autisme.
Expérience antérieure en soins ou en accompagnement d’adultes ayant des limitations fonctionnelles, des handicaps ou des besoins médicaux.
Excellentes aptitudes en communication et relations interpersonnelles.
Personne patiente, empathique, fiable et positive.
Capacité physique à effectuer des transferts, de l’assistance au déplacement et certaines tâches de soins physiques.
Permis de conduire valide.
Vérification des antécédents judiciaires requise.
Capacité à travailler de façon autonome tout en respectant les directives et les routines établies.
Grande flexibilité quant à l’horaire et aux disponibilités.

Conditions du poste

Poste permanent
Environ 30 à 40 heures par semaine
Horaire flexible établi directement avec le/la préposé(e).
Les quarts de travail peuvent comprendre :
Jour
Soir
Nuit avec période de sommeil
Fins de semaine, au besoin
Les heures peuvent varier d’une semaine à l’autre; la flexibilité est donc essentielle.

Caregiver / Personal Support Worker – Adult Autism Support

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Caregiver / Personal Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to an adult on the Autism Spectrum in a private family home.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals on the Autism Spectrum and a genuine passion for caregiving and helping others.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one personal care and assistance with:
Bathing
Dressing
Grooming
Feeding
Other daily living activities
Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate care records.
Assist with therapy exercises and other routines as directed by healthcare professionals.
Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement.
Participate in educational, recreational, and community activities, as appropriate.
Assist with daily routines and ensure a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment.
Communicate and collaborate closely with family members and healthcare providers to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

Requirements

Strong experience supporting individuals on the Autism Spectrum.
Previous caregiving experience with adults with disabilities and/or medical needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, compassionate, reliable, and positive attitude.
Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and other physical care needs.
Valid driver's license.
Clear background check.
Ability to work independently while following care instructions and established routines.
Flexibility with scheduling and availability.

Position Details

Permanent position
Approximately 30–40 hours per week
Flexible schedule arranged directly with the caregiver.
Shifts may include:
Day shifts
Evening shifts
Overnight/sleep shifts
Weekends, as needed
Hours may vary from week to week, so flexibility is important.
