Full job description

Licensed Automotive Technician - Bridgewater, NS

Speedy Auto Service is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring repairs are performed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, tire services, and brake repairs.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic equipment.
Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
Communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors and customers.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all company and industry safety standards.

Qualifications

Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification preferred.
Automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Automotive repair: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Red Seal Certification (preferred)
