Café Manager – Mo'Cha Café (Sarnia, ON)

Mo'Cha Café is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Café Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in cafés, coffee shops, restaurants, bubble tea shops, or other quick-service food establishments.

Responsibilities

Manage daily café operations and ensure exceptional customer service
Recruit, train, coach, and supervise staff
Create employee schedules and manage labour costs
Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and health regulation compliance
Oversee inventory, ordering, and waste control
Handle cash management, POS systems, and daily reconciliations
Resolve customer concerns professionally
Maintain Mo'Cha Café brand standards and a positive team culture
Support local marketing and sales initiatives

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in food service, café, restaurant, or hospitality management
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with staff training, scheduling, and inventory management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Barista, coffee, tea, smoothie, or bubble tea experience is an asset
