Hiring Assemblers for afternoon shift in Vaughan

Shift: 2pm - 11 pm (Mon-Fri)

$25/hour paid bi weekly

Job Overview

This position offers an energetic environment focused on teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. As an Assembler, you'll utilize your mechanical aptitude and technical skills to transform raw materials and components into finished goods that meet rigorous quality standards. Your contributions will directly impact our production efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate construction of products.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and welding equipment to assemble components according to specifications.
Operate machinery such as machining tools and forklifts safely and efficiently within the manufacturing environment.
Follow safety protocols diligently while handling materials, tools, and equipment to maintain a secure workspace.
Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to verify dimensions and fit using precision measuring instruments.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and meet production deadlines.
Maintain organized workstations and document assembly progress accurately for quality assurance purposes.

Skills

Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with attention to detail.
Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in machining, welding, and using hand and power tools.
Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring tools for precise assembly work.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and schematics interpretation.
Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously while working with machinery and heavy equipment.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
