Full job description

Position: CMM Programmer Operator

Pay: $28.00–$32.00 per hour

Location: Vaughan, On

Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented CMM Programmer Operator to join our Quality team. This role is responsible for programming and operating CMM equipment using Calypso, performing dimensional inspections, preparing quality documentation, and ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Program and operate CMMs using Calypso.
Inspect parts using CAD models, engineering drawings, and measuring equipment.
Generate inspection reports, including AS9102 First Article Inspections and SPC documentation.
Identify and document non-conformances and support corrective actions.
Assist with final inspections, quality assurance activities, and training junior team members.
Maintain inspection equipment and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field.
3+ years of CMM programming experience using Calypso.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Compensation & Schedule

$28.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience.
12-hour shifts (6:00–6:00).
Available shifts:
Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Weekend schedule: Thursday–Sunday (6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM).
