Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and dependable Nanny/Housekeeper to join our household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing attentive childcare and maintaining a clean, organized home environment. This role offers an opportunity to support a family by ensuring a safe, nurturing space for children while keeping the household running smoothly. Flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude are essential qualities for success in this position.

Duties

Provide attentive supervision and care for child, including engaging in age-appropriate activities and ensuring their safety at all times
Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, washing bottles, cleaning
Organize and maintain a tidy home environment by performing cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and organizing household items
Ensure the home remains a safe, welcoming space by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness standards
Support with light meal preparation for the family when necessary

Experience

Prior experience caring for children in a nanny or babysitting role is preferred
Experience with household cleaning and organization is desirable
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions carefully are essential
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-have skills include CPR/First Aid certification, basic cooking skills, and familiarity with child development principles

This position requires a compassionate individual who values creating a positive environment for children and maintaining an orderly home. The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in supporting family needs.

Must live in Squamish.

This role is part-time.

2-4 hours a day.

Weekdays only, occasional weekends.

Must speak Punjabi.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
