Lil Betta’s Swim School is looking for passionate, energetic, and safety-focused Swim Instructors to join our team!
We believe swimming is an essential life skill, and our goal is to help every swimmer build confidence, develop strong swimming skills, and feel comfortable and safe in the water. If you love working with children and want to make a difference one lesson at a time, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do
- Teach fun, engaging, and age-appropriate swimming lessons.
- Help swimmers develop water confidence, safety skills, and proper swimming techniques.
- Create a positive and encouraging environment where every swimmer feels successful.
- Adapt lessons to meet individual abilities, needs, and learning styles.
- Monitor swimmers closely and maintain a safe pool environment at all times.
- Provide parents and guardians with helpful feedback on swimmer progress.
- Track swimmer development and complete lesson assessments as required.
- Follow Lil Betta’s safety procedures, teaching standards, and emergency protocols.
- Bring enthusiasm, patience, and a positive attitude to every lesson!
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal Swim Instructors are:
- Certified as a Swim Instructor through the Lifesaving Society or an equivalent recognized program.
- Current in CPR/AED and First Aid.
- Confident and comfortable working in and around the water.
- Patient, dependable, enthusiastic, and professional.
- Great with clients of all abilities and able to build trust quickly.
- Comfortable communicating with parents and guardians.
- Able to work independently while being a supportive member of the Lil Betta’s team.
- Previous swim teaching or aquatic experience is an asset.
