OPERATIONS COORDINATOR – CUSTOMER SERVICE

For over 30 years, Bronco Transportation Systems Inc. has built a reputation as one of British Columbia's trusted transportation providers, specializing in container drayage, flat deck, OOG, project cargo, and cross-border transportation.

As we continue to grow and modernize our operations, we are looking for an organized, motivated professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is more than a traditional customer service position—you will be a key member of our Operations team and play an important role in coordinating freight and ensuring our customers receive the level of service Bronco is known for.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

· Be a primary point of contact for customers by phone and email.

· Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication.

· Enter and manage transportation orders using our Transportation Management System (TruckMate).

· Coordinate daily deliveries, pickups, terminal appointments, and customer scheduling.

· Monitor vessel schedules, shipment status, and terminal activity at Ocean and Rail terminals.

· Work closely with Dispatch to coordinate capacity and service requirements.

· Provide proactive shipment updates and resolve customer issues professionally.

· Ensure shipments move within terminal and steamship line free-time requirements.

· Maintain accurate shipment records and customer information.

· Assist with operational improvements and process initiatives.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Teams.

· Transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or ocean container experience is an asset.

· Experience with TruckMate or another Transportation Management System is an asset.
