We are seeking a reliable and dedicated part time Dishwasher to join our team at the Cucina. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our Italian restaurant.

Typical shifts are 4–6 hours, beginning between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and ending at closing time (approximately 6:00–6:30 p.m.)

What You Will Do:

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and ensure all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and menu items, following recipes and portion control guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as food delivery, stocking supplies, or assisting with food service.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address any issues or concerns promptly.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

What You Have:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Good English communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to start between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and ending at closing time (approximately 6:00–6:30 p.m.).
