Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver specializing in Childcare to provide attentive support to children in a home setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental needs of children while fostering a nurturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives through personalized care and engagement.

She is willing to work on flexible hours and willing to travel with family vacations.

Optional accommodation is free on live in basis but this is not a condition of the job offer.

Duties

Prepare children for school in the morning by preparing their clothes, pack school lunch and snacks and prepare breakfast
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and teaching exercises to promote development
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning toys, play areas, and maintaining a tidy environment
Monitor children's behavior and ensure their safety at all times during caregiving hours
Discipline the children according to the parent's method
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding child's progress, activities, and any concerns

Skills

Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds
Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
Knowledge of caregiving best practices, including safety protocols and child development principles
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
Skills in cleaning and maintaining a hygienic environment for children
Teaching abilities to support early childhood learning and development initiativesThis position is ideal for caring individuals committed to nurturing children's growth in a safe, supportive home environment. Prior experience in caregiving or childcare is preferred, along with a genuine passion for working with children.
Must be available to work on flexible hours
Willng to travel with family on vacation

Pay: $18.12 per hour
