Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products and structures, supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing and construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced tools and techniques in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact project success.

Duties

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of metal parts.
Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join metal components securely, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Use plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication machinery to shape, cut, bend, and assemble materials.
Measure materials precisely using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices; perform basic math calculations for dimensions and tolerances.
Operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment safely to move heavy materials or assemblies within the workspace.
Fabricate structural components for construction or manufacturing projects following schematics and technical specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; inspect completed work for quality assurance before final assembly or shipment.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG), fabrication, or related manufacturing roles; construction experience is a plus.
Mechanical knowledge of tools such as press brakes, plasma cutters, calipers, hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading.
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with rigging techniques, crane operation, forklift certification preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices; ability to work safely with welding equipment and heavy machinery.
Excellent manual dexterity combined with problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
