JOB DESCRIPTION

A Licensed Automotive Technician/Mechanic is a skilled member of the Service Department who reports to the Service Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

A Licensed Automotive Technician is responsible for performing the following duties:

Diagnose and repair both retail and fleet/corporate client vehicles
Repair or replace worn or damaged parts
Perform scheduled maintenance services
Diagnose and perform warranty repairs following the guidelines laid out by the manufacturer
Maintain all necessary manufacturer and industry certifications by participating in continuous training (online and in-person)
Ensure all equipment used in the Service Department is in good repair
Keep his/her work area clean and organized.

The Employee’s productivity will be monitored. Employees will be expected to perform in accordance with industry standards, as well as standards and policies specific to Badanai Motors.

The hours for this position are 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

A valid 310S Certification
A valid Ontario Driver’s License
A full suite of tools required to perform the necessary procedures and repairs
Good interpersonal and communication skills
