Administrative & Office Assistant (with QuickBooks Experience)

Location: 65 International Blvd., Etobicoke, ON (In-Person)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $22.00 – $26.50 per hour ($42,900 to $51,675 per year) or Commensurate with experience

We are an established radio station located in Etobicoke. Our team is passionate about broadcasting, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a vibrant, organized, and smooth-running office environment to support our day-to-day operations.

Job Summary

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily office operations, balancing general clerical support with routine day-to-day financial tracking (including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and basic invoicing).

This position is perfect for an experienced office clerk, administrative assistant, or bookkeeper who is proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and enjoys a varied role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration: Support the team with daily clerical tasks, data entry, filing, and general office upkeep to ensure smooth operations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage day-to-day invoicing, process incoming vendor invoices, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Financial Data Entry: Utilize QuickBooks Desktop record financial transactions and maintain up-to-date records.
Payroll & Reconciliation: Assist with routine bank reconciliations and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Clerk, or Assistant Bookkeeper.
Software Proficiency: Practical experience using QuickBooks Desktop data entry.
Core Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a comfort level working with numbers and basic office math.
Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) with a professional and welcoming communication style.
Must be a team player.

Education & Experience Preferences

QuickBooks / Bookkeeping Experience: 2–4 years of practical experience managing invoices, data entry, or basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s Degree or college diploma in business or office administration is a preferred asset, but practical experience is valued most.
