Purpose of the Role

Talipay is seeking part-time bookkeeping support to assist with the day-to-day financial administration of the company and to help maintain accurate, timely financial records.

The role is primarily focused on general bookkeeping, accounts payable processing, bank reconciliations, general accounting entries, and supporting the preparation of month-end financial statements using QuickBooks Online.

This is an internal finance role intended to provide reliable day-to-day financial support as Talipay continues to grow. It is not a senior accounting or financial management position.

Key Responsibilities

Process and maintain routine accounts payable transactions, including reviewing invoices and ensuring they are properly recorded and coded.
Perform regular bank and other account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare routine journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records in QuickBooks Online.
Assist with month-end close activities.
Prepare preliminary month-end financial statement drafts, including the income statement and balance sheet, for management review.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Knowledge of accounts payable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end processes.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong Excel and communication skills.

Compensation and Availability

Hourly Rate: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Position: Part-time
Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours per week
Availability: Flexible availability between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
Candidates should have the flexibility to adjust their schedule as needed to support day-to-day bookkeeping requirements and month-end activities.
