More about the role:

The Role: As a Content Strategist & Writer on our DXCS team (Editorial & Content Strategy focus), you will act as a digital editorial specialist on key client accounts, ensuring content is optimized for search and answer engines (SEO and GEO). You create content strategies and write content for brands across their digital-owned channels, including websites, email, social media and multi-media content.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Content Strategy: Strategize and plan online content to meet business goals and user needs. Create editorial calendars, content outlines, content distribution plans, content extensions across channels and formats (web, social, email), ensuring best practices for each one.

Content Writing & Editorial Content Production: Write content across varied formats, ensuring copy is clear, compelling, accessible and brings the brand tone of voice to life. Conduct interviews with executives and subject matter experts as required. Work as a copy development lead in close partnership with other digital and social media specialists, designers and video producers to create content.

Data-Informed & Optimized Storytelling: Partner with our internal SEO & GEO specialists to ensure content is search optimized and designed to be easily discoverable and extractable by Large Language Models (LLMs). Leverage data and measurement insights to inform content strategies, planning, topics, and editorial themes.

Qualifications & Experience

4–5+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial, digital content, copywriting, communications, or a related field.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and channels.
Experience developing content for websites, email, social media, and other digital platforms.
Working knowledge of SEO best practices; experience with GEO and AI-optimized content is an asset.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, social media specialists, and digital strategists.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
