Summary

Join Nex Industrial Supplies Inc. as a Lead Hand and Service Technician in our dynamic team based in Canada. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and access systems, contributing directly to our mission of providing reliable commercial solutions.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and loading dock systems.
Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and cranes safely and efficiently.
Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service tasks.
Maintain detailed service records and report on equipment status.
Assist in assembly and installation of new systems when required.
Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally.

Qualifications

Proven experience with industrial equipment maintenance or similar technical roles.
Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
Experience operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, excavators, or cranes.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Good communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration.
Valid certifications related to heavy equipment operation or technical repair are preferred.
