Almond Butterfly Bistro is pleased to be hiring a full-time DISHWASHER to join our back-of-house team!

Since 2019, A.B. Bistro has been serving up downtown Toronto diners tasty & lovingly prepared dishes, in a chic, fun, and vibrant dining atmosphere! Aside from our robust dinner offerings (steak, salmon, pastas, burgers, salads, & more), A.B. Bistro is also a Top-5 brunch spot in Toronto (as rated by BlogTO)!

Wage: $19.50/hr + tips (+$2.50-3.25/hr avg)

Shifts:
WED (1:30pm - 10:30pm)
THU (1:30pm - 10:30pm)
FRI (10:00am - 3:00pm)
SAT (4:00pm - 10:30pm)
SUN (4:00pm - 10:30pm)

35-40 hours/week.
Shift days and times may change, depending on business need.
This is not a cash position.

Duties include:

- washing and sanitizing plates, smallwares, utensils, and bakewares;
- restaurant opening/closing cleaning tasks;
- following all Food Safety guidelines at all times (i.e. maintaining correct pH levels in the sanitization sink; following correct 3-compartment sink dishwashing method; etc);
- other tasks and duties, as assigned (i.e. light prep);

Requirements:

✔ You have a minimum of 3 years dishwashing experience in a commercial kitchen;
✔ You rise to challenges, and are solutions-oriented;
✔ You thrive in FAST-PACED environments, while maintaining a positive attitude;
✔ You are a mature, seasoned professional who works well with owners, managers, and teammates;
✔ You know how to work quickly and efficiently, and understand time management;
✔ You are seeking long-term, permanent employment (1+ yrs);

Please note before applying:
- you will not be using a mechanical dishwasher;
- dishwares are washed manually: experience with the 3-compartment method is required;
- there are two dishwashing stations you will be responsible for (two floors);
- you must have clear communication skills, and be comfortable using information technology (i.e. direct messaging; email; tablets; etc);
