Full job description

Job Summary: The cleaner will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior of the plant, office areas, restrooms, lunchrooms and training rooms.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 8:00pm.

Job Duties:

Operate vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
Empty trash cans and other waste containers (interior only)
Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
Clean and stock washrooms, lunchrooms and training rooms
Perform other routine maintenance jobs and repairs as required
Ensure that security and safety measures are followed
Other duties as required

Employment requirements:

Previous cleaning and maintenance experience considered an asset.
Demonstrate a dependable work ethic and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to handle physically demanding work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.90 per hour
