Job Description

We’re seeking a Food & Consumables Team Associate to be an asset within the Food and Consumable areas. They will provide exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the food and consumables area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods..

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services.
Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location 
Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced. 
Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and product quality
Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to follow procedures and work in a team environment
Friendly and helpful customer service skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Pay: From $16.90 per hour

Work Location: In person
