Truro Landscaping is a rapidly growing and evolving business, and is looking for Landscapers to join our exceptional team. We pride ourselves in taking a team-centric approach to our business. As we continue to expand our front-line operations, we require a motivated, creative, and talented individuals to help us manage this growth. This person(s) will be critical in helping to provide an exceptional client experience. This person will require strong problem solving, organizational, and teamworking skills. Further, a high degree of judgement, and professionalism is required.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

- Experience in property maintenance, masonry, construction, or other relevant field

- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills

- Strong problem-solving abilities

- Drivers licence is a requirement

- Ability to:

o Combine speed and accuracy while working under pressure to meet deadlines;

o Work independently and as part of a team

o Assess and recognize workplace hazards

o Maintain an organized working environment

o Conduct yourself in a professional manner

o Engage in physically strenuous work

- Safety certifications, other tickets, or advanced drivers licensing is considered an asset

- A great attitude is key, we can teach the rest!

Objective:

-To provide exceptional service to our clients with reliability and exceptional results.

-Maintain professional conduct on all client sites.

-Work safely embracing a culture of safety best practices.

Responsibilities:

- 40 hours per week.

- Travel to and from the required work site

-Ongoing safety and industry training

-Strong commitment to job site safety requirements

-Completion of a daily work sheet

-Strong communication with clients on site

-Strong communication with team members

Compensation:

- Hourly Rate of $19.50 - $20.00 per hour + Bonus as applicable (Paid each pay period)

-ex. $1 per hour for arriving on time for all shifts

-ex. $1 per hour for absence of call backs

-ex. $1 per hour for completion of jobs on budget

- Vacation paid out as applicable

- Group RRSP/TFSA with 3% employer matching.

- Employee discounts to the RECC center and Marks Work Wearhouse.

Duration:

-Start date of April 17, 2026

-90 Day probation period

-No designated end date

Job Type: Full-time
