Job Overview

Located in Coquitlam, BC, HY-Dentist is committed to providing exceptional and personalized oral health services. With a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction, our team offers a range of dental treatments.

Right now, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinic Manager to oversee the operations of one of our clinic branches. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background related to healthcare management, as well as a commitment to ensuring excellent services.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and manage daily dental clinic operations, including staffing, scheduling, and patient flow
Supervise and train dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff
Develop clinic procedures and service standards to improve efficiency and quality of patient care
Coordinate with dentists on clinical operations, treatment scheduling and patient service needs
Manage clinic budgets, expenses, staffing levels, supplies, and dental equipment
Oversee appointments, billing, insurance processing, and resolution of patient concerns
Ensure compliance with dental regulations, infection-control standards, and clinic policies
Work with the dental team to evaluate and introduce new dental technologies, equipment, and treatment processes
Review clinic performance and implement improvements to services, staffing, and operations

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in dentistry, healthcare administration, or a related healthcare field is required; higher education in a related field is an asset.
At least five years of experience in dental or healthcare services, including substantial responsibility for clinic operations and staff management
Strong knowledge of dental clinic operations, staffing, budgeting, and financial management
Proven leadership skills with experience supervising a team of 10 or more employees
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
