About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide remote support to a busy accounting professional. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative work, thrives in a remote environment, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, tech-savvy, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling

· Monitor and organize emails, responding to routine inquiries as appropriate

· Prepare, format, and edit documents, spreadsheets, and reports

· Maintain electronic files and ensure accurate recordkeeping

· Assist with client communications and follow-ups

· Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting materials

· Perform data entry and administrative support tasks

· Help track deadlines, projects, and client deliverables

· Support bookkeeping and accounting-related administrative functions as needed

· Handle other general administrative duties to support the accountant’s day-to-day operations

Qualifications

· Previous experience in an administrative assistant, executive assistant, office administrator, or similar role

· Strong organizational and time-management skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

· High level of attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace

· Comfortable learning and using accounting, CRM, and practice-management software

· Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience supporting an accountant, bookkeeper, financial professional, or small business owner

· Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software

· Experience working in a fully remote environment
