Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries by preparing equipment and restraining animals safely.
Provide basic animal care, including feeding, bathing, grooming, and administering medication as directed.
Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, kennels, surgical suites, and equipment to uphold high standards of hygiene.
Support client communication by answering questions about pet care instructions and scheduling appointments.
Monitor animals’ behavior during visits to ensure safety for both pets and staff.
Keep accurate records of treatments, medications administered, and patient histories in compliance with clinic protocols.
Handle laboratory samples with care, preparing specimens for testing while adhering to safety procedures.

Experience

Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Compassionate attitude toward animals and their owners, with a proactive approach to learning new skills.
