Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales & Service Coordinator / Bench Tech to join our team! In this multifaceted role, you will be the vital link between customer service, technical support, and repair operations. Your energetic approach will ensure seamless communication with clients, efficient management of service requests, and precise technical troubleshooting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine sales coordination with hands-on technical work, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions. Your mechanical aptitude, technical skills, and proactive attitude will drive success in this fast-paced environment.

Sales Coordinator Duties

Order Processing: Handle incoming purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure accurate invoicing.
Customer Support: Answer client inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Sales Support: Prepare sales reports, manage schedules, and organize digital filing systems.
Communication: Bridge the gap between sales reps, logistics, and technical staff.
Shipping: Choose shipping methods, pack items securely, create crates or containers, and prepare documents like invoices and bills of lading.
Receiving: Inspect incoming deliveries against packing slips or purchase orders, note any damage or missing items, and reject broken goods.
Inventory Control: Move stock to proper warehouse locations, code items, and update computerized or manual tracking records.

Bench Tech (Bench Technician) Duties

Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI): Final check and update prior to delivery to end using. Includes but not limited to, Cleaning, Firmware, Software and components review.
Testing & Quality Control: Inspect and test returned or newly assembled units to ensure they meet operational standards.
Inventory & Parts Management: Track replacement parts, components, and tools needed for repairs.
Technical Documentation: Log repair notes, parts used, and diagnostic results into internal systems.

Service Coordinator Duties

Create Work Orders (WO): Assist sales and service staff with the creation of WO’s though a service app.
Inspection: Confirm inventory is on hand and PDI has been completed
Records: Track time and service parts used for billing purposes
Invoice: See work order through to completion and invoicing.

Key Qualifications

Education: High school diploma required; a technical certification, electronics diploma, or business degree is preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and time-management skills.
Organization: Strong attention to detail to match paperwork with physical inventory.
Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift heavy packages or boxes (often up to 18 kg / 40 lbs).
Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to coordinate with couriers, drivers, and other departments.
