Full job description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment at both hotels - Wakefield Mill Hotel and Spa .

The technician will also be responsible for maintaining an extremely high level of customer service and professionalism while repairing and maintaining catering equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, maintain, repair and test various equipment. (swimming pool, Jacuzzi)

Interact with hotel guests and ensure that any information they require is handled in an appropriate, professional and courteous manner

Respond quickly and efficiently to service calls in both hotels

Assess and carry out repairs quickly, efficiently and accurately;

Maintain an orderly and accurate inventory of parts in the storeroom;

Train other staff in preventive maintenance and equipment operating procedures;

Work shifts are from Friday to Tuesday;

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma.

Ability to understand and communicate instructions in French and English.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Knowledge of local, provincial and federal work compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation.

Valid driver's license.

Ability to find alternative solutions to problems.

Ability to work under pressure.

Strong attention to detail.

You must have excellent customer service skills and be able to ask in-depth questions, understand and solve customer problems;

You must have a good knowledge of smartphones and be able to learn and navigate new software quickly.

Compensation: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
