Westlock Motors is looking for an Administrative Assistant with accounting experience to join our team! Being one of the first faces customers see when they walk through our doors, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a superior level of customer service as well as performing general administrative and accounting support for the dealership.

The successful candidate will work full-time, Monday through Friday, and earn $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience.

What You’ll Do:

Greet customers in a friendly manner and determine the nature of their visit; directing them to the correct department or individual
Answer incoming phone calls, direct caller to appropriate department or individual
Perform accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash transactions, bank deposits and account reconciliations
Assist with month-end processes, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate accounting records
Administer and manage inbound and outbound mail
Provide other support to the dealership as required

Our Ideal Candidate:

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative/reception role with accounting or bookkeeping experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills with a positive, upbeat attitude to make a positive first impression
Superior communication and inter-personal skills on the phone, in email and in person
Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively multitask and remain calm under pressure
Possess a basic understanding of accounting principles
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in the use of computers, including the use of Microsoft Office applications
