Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our manufacturing team on steady day shift, 6 months or longer. The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems used in various industrial, projects. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with welding techniques, and the ability to interpret technical schematics and blueprints. The Pipefitters will work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment to ensure the safe and efficient completion of projects, adhering to all safety standards and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems
Cut, weld, and assemble pipes using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and other welding techniques
Measure and mark pipes with precision using calipers, hand tools, and basic math skills
Install piping systems for automation, or manufacturing applications
Rigging sections and materials to facilitate installation
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on piping systems to ensure optimal operation
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues using mechanical knowledge and schematic references
Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Use hand tools effectively for cutting, threading, fitting, and securing pipes
Support project timelines by working efficiently within scheduled shifts

Requirements

Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within construction or manufacturing environments
Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and general welding practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
Strong mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and maintenance procedures
Tube bending, black pipe etc.
Experience with hand tools such as pipe wrenches, saws, levels, and calipers
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting
Knowledge of schematics used in manufacturing or construction projects
Ability to work steady days with consistent hours in a team-oriented environment
