Full job description

Adecco is currently hiring a Receptionist for a full-time temporary opportunity in Wingham, ON .
This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with experience in reception, front desk administration, customer service, or office support. As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, you will play a key role in creating a professional and welcoming office environment while supporting daily administrative operations.

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Location: Wingham, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier shipments, and deliveries
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings
Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and document management
Monitor and order office supplies as required
Respond to general inquiries and provide administrative support
Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in reception, customer service, front desk, or administrative support preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organization, multitasking, and time-management abilities
Professional demeanor and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bilingualism is considered an asset
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
