With decades of innovation behind us and a growing production line ahead, we’re looking for a Weld Shop Supervisor who can lead with confidence, elevate quality, and keep our weld operations running like a well‑tuned machine.

What You’ll Do

As our Weld Shop Supervisor, you’ll be the driving force behind a high-performing team of welders and fabricators. Your leadership will ensure that every product leaving the shop meets Bridgeview’s uncompromising standards for durability, safety, and craftsmanship.

You will:

Lead, mentor, and coach a team of welders and apprentices
Coordinate daily workflow, staffing, and production priorities
Ensure weld quality meets engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and support continuous improvement
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Collaborate with engineering, machining, and assembly departments
Train staff on new processes, equipment, and quality expectations
Monitor consumables, equipment maintenance, and shop readiness

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who blends technical expertise with strong leadership instincts.

You have:

Red Seal Journeyperson Welder or equivalent experience
Proven supervisory or lead-hand experience in a weld/fabrication environment
Strong understanding of MIG welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes
Ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable
A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
