Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant food service team! As a key member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and professional service. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and satisfied. You will handle food and beverage orders with precision, manage multiple tables seamlessly, and ensure every guest leaves with a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to create a positive first impression.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing tasks, ensuring timely service, and attending to guest needs proactively.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all payments.
Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and cleanliness protocols in both the dining area and kitchen.

Requirements

Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for order processing and cashiering.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and making change.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
Hospitality mindset with a passion for serving others and creating memorable dining experiences.
