Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Nanny/Babysitter to provide attentive childcare and support in a safe, nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, capable of engaging them in educational and recreational activities, and skilled in caregiving tasks. Duties
- Supervise and monitor children during daily activities, ensuring their safety at all times
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Assist with homework, teaching basic skills, and encouraging learning through play
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including arts, crafts, games, and outdoor play
- Perform light cleaning duties related to children’s areas, such as tidying up toys and maintaining a neat environment
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by providing compassionate care and assistance as needed
- Follow care routines, including nap times, hygiene practices, and medication administration if required
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a caregiving or babysitting capacity is preferred
- Experience in meal preparation and cooking for children is advantageous
- Familiarity with caregiving for individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Background in teaching or educational activities can enhance the quality of care provided
- Strong skills in cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment are beneficial
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
