Summary
We are seeking an Instrumentation & Automation Technician to join our dynamic team at Canada Royal Milk ULC. This role is pivotal in maintaining and optimizing our production systems to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our infant formula manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and automation systems within the facility.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to support system installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement upgrades and modifications to existing systems.
- Assist in the development of automation solutions that improve production efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff on equipment usage and maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an instrumentation technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and logic controllers.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD for creating and modifying technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Shift work will be required in the role.
