Full job description
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 / 8:00-17:30 / 18:30 or until the assigned route is completed. Can go home when the route is completed
Roles & Responsibilities:
- This is a full-time position
- Use pulse scanner for all required activities on the daily route; all scannable waybills, laser waybills, and shipper’s own bar-coded labels must be scanned
- Delivery of all assigned material in the route area, within the specific requirements of both customer and Canpar Express Inc.
- Ability & willingness to drive in rural areas, inclement weather, winter conditions
- Pick up all assigned customer pick-ups within the specific guidelines of Customers and Canpar Express Inc.
- Compile and submit accurate route records daily
Accountabilities/Results
- Responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction
- Professional representation of Canpar Express Inc. at all times, including the maintenance and presentation of vehicles, uniform, etc.
- On-time pick-up and delivery of customer shipments
- Interact effectively with other members of the customer service and operation teams
Qualifications:
- Excelled area knowledge
- Ability to operate commercial equipment
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract for a minimum of 2 years
- Criminal record check required
