This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, field troubleshooting experience, and electrical & instrumentation knowledge who thrives in dynamic work environments. The Field Specialist will play a key role in supporting equipment reliability, assisting customers, and ensuring successful project execution in the field.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the deployment, setup, and commissioning of field equipment and systems
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, controls, and related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and field service work
- Assist with instrumentation setup, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Support electrical and control system integration
- Respond to field service calls and customer technical support requests
- Conduct inspections, testing, and system performance assessments
- Assist with carbon management, equipment registration, and validation processes
- Support site assessments, project mobilizations, and operational planning
- Maintain shop tools, inventory, and field readiness
- Provide technical support and maintain strong customer relationships
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and field processes
Requirements
- Journeyman Electrician / Instrumentation (E&I) certification required
- 2+ years of field, industrial, or oil & gas experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience with pumps, controls, fluid systems, and instrumentation preferred
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and technical drawings
- Comfortable working independently in field environments
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Willingness to travel as required
