What You'll Do
As our Service Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our busy service department while creating an outstanding experience for both customers and employees.
Responsibilities include:
Lead, coach and develop a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, Apprentices, Detail Staff and Support Staff.
Drive customer satisfaction and maintain exceptional CSI performance.
Monitor shop productivity, technician efficiency and workflow.
Ensure repair orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
Oversee scheduling, dispatching and shop capacity planning.
Build a positive, accountable and team-focused culture.
Monitor departmental financial performance, gross profit and expenses.
Recruit, train and mentor new employees.
Work closely with the Parts Department to maximize efficiency and customer service.
Ensure compliance with Nissan Canada standards, dealership policies and Ontario health and safety legislation.
Resolve customer concerns professionally while building long-term relationships.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, profitability and employee engagement.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3-5 years of automotive Service Management experience.
Previous Nissan experience is considered an asset but is not required.
Strong leadership and people development skills.
Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
Proven ability to improve productivity and departmental performance.
Strong understanding of dealership operations and financial reporting.
Experience using dealership management systems (PBS experience is an asset).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
Compensation includes:
Performance-based compensation plan
Expected annual earnings: $80,000–$120,000
