Clover Tool Manufacturing Limited is Canadian based and owned, privately held company. We specialize in automotive tooling, stampings and assemblies. We are capable of running a number of diverse projects. Today, Clover Tool operates in over a 175,000 square foot facility providing a full service solution to its customers.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment, and implement proactive maintenance strategies. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to maintain optimal plant performance and safety standards.

Duties

Co-ordinates preventative and predictive maintenance with maintenance technical group and production planning.
Supports daily/weekly/monthly PM assignments, does follow-up and monitors PM schedule.
Assists with repair, modification, and installation activities with other maintenance personnel.
Participates in manpower requirements planning, overtime scheduling, and assists with capacity planning to meet future objectives.
Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area and perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and safety policies
Regularly observes where issues are occurring, and that maintenance offers assistance and support to production team members;
Monitors and shares KPI results with employees to encourage continuous improvement results. KPI's are monitored through daily methods. KPI results are reviewed regularly using a variety of means; i.e, pre-shift and department meetings, postings and one on ones.
Plans and directs the utilization and use of all equipment and manpower to achieve the most effective results. Manpower and equipment utilization are meeting or exceeding expected results/targets.
Assists in the development of procedures and methods which improve Safety, Quality, Timing, Cost and Motivation.
Orders materials required for repair, modification, installation, and maintenance of equipment.
Participates in quotations and follow-up related to new projects.
Assigns competent trades and follows up with inter-department requests.
Quality issues or concerns within their area of responsibility are dealt with by actively applying root cause analysis, in an effective manner.
Participates in the design and/or redesign of new or used equipment.
Communicates and reports department progress/results on regular operations
Directs and distributes the work for their area of responsibility.
Effectively builds and fosters high performing teams by ensuring teamwork within the department.

Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
Completion of college university degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field; or Certification of Qualification for Electrical/Millwright; or equivalent work related experience.
Broad experience in various types of maintenance mechanical
Highly knowledgeable in mechanical and machining
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing operation systems (ERP,Preventive Maintenance, etc.).
Strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills and strategic planning capabilities
Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed.
10 years related successful hands-on trade experience servicing like equipment.
Familiar to the following applications: Robotics, PLC’s, weld controllers, MIG & Spot welding, electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, conveyors, vision systems, Microsoft Office, CMMS, Outlook, ADP.
Highly knowledgeable in Robotics, PLC and electrical
