The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team as Service Shop Foreman.

This role is ideal for a technician with strong diagnostic and engine expertise who is looking to take the next step into a leadership position while remaining actively involved in the shop. The successful candidate will serve as a technical resource for the team, support shop operations, and play a key role in mentoring and developing apprentices and technicians.

What Will You Do?

Provide technical leadership and guidance to technicians and apprentices
Support diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines
Serve as the primary technical resource for complex engine, drivability, electrical, and aftertreatment concerns
Mentor apprentices and less experienced technicians through hands-on training and coaching
Monitor shop productivity and workflow, helping ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
Work closely with the Service Manager to identify and address operational challenges that impact shop performance
Review repairs and diagnostics to support quality workmanship and consistent repair processes
Complete repairs and diagnostics as required while leading by example on the shop floor
Promote a safe, professional, and team-oriented work environment

You're a Journeyman HD Mechanic and have a passion for all things mechanical.
You've spent lots of time "on the tools" and are viewed by your peers as a subject matter expert .
You love working with your hands and don’t mind getting those hands dirty.
