Fuzz Wax Bar is seeking an experienced, passionate, and results-driven Location Trainer to join our Queen West team. This leadership role is ideal for a top-performing esthetician who is passionate about developing others, maintaining the highest service standards, and creating exceptional client experiences.
As a Location Trainer, you will be responsible for onboarding, coaching, and developing new and existing Fuzzologists while ensuring all services are delivered consistently according to the Fuzz Way. You will serve as a technical expert, mentor, and role model within the location, helping drive team performance, service excellence, client retention, and business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development
- Lead onboarding and training of new Fuzzologists and Medical Estheticians.
- Deliver hands-on coaching in waxing techniques, client consultation, service execution, retail education, and laser treatments.
- Conduct practical evaluations, service observations, and skills assessments.
- Identify performance gaps and develop coaching plans to support growth.
- Ensure all team members consistently execute the Fuzz Way and company protocols.
- Support the ongoing education and development of existing team members.
Quality Assurance
- Maintain the highest standards of service quality, safety, sanitation, and professionalism.
- Monitor treatment consistency and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, treatment protocols, and operational standards.
- Assist with retraining and corrective action plans when necessary.
Leadership & Team Support
- Lead by example through exceptional client service and professionalism.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture.
- Support the Location Manager in achieving service, retail, membership, and retention goals.
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve individual and team success.
- Serve as a trusted resource for technical questions and client concerns.
Client Experience
- Deliver exceptional waxing and laser services.
- Build strong client relationships through education, communication, and outstanding service.
- Ensure every client feels welcomed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment plan.
- Handle client concerns professionally and effectively.
Retail & Business Performance
- Drive retail sales through education and personalized recommendations.
- Support membership growth and client retention initiatives.
- Assist in achieving location performance goals and key performance indicators.
QualificationsRequired
- Certified Esthetician.
- Minimum 3 years of professional waxing experience.
- Strong expertise in full-body waxing services.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Professional, reliable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable servicing a diverse clientele in an inclusive environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing laser hair removal treatments using the Clarity II laser system is strongly preferred.
- Experience training, coaching, or mentoring estheticians on laser hair removal treatments and safety protocols is considered a significant asset.
- Strong knowledge of laser consultations, treatment planning, contraindications, and adverse event management.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of client safety, treatment efficacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience supporting team development through hands-on training, performance coaching, and quality assurance.
- Experience with threading is considered an asset.
Availability Requirements
- Must have flexible availability to support operational and training needs.
- Must be available to work evenings.
- Must be available to participate in a rotating weekend schedule.
- Availability during holidays, promotional events, and peak business periods may be required.
