Full job description

Straight Days 8am-5pm; Every 2nd Saturday - half day

We are a transportation company that services our equipment in our full-service shop. We are looking for a Licenced Mechanic ($30-$38 hourly) with a 310T Truck and Coach Licence. If you are in your 3rd year as a Registered Apprentice (up to $28 hourly) in the 310T Program, we may have a position for you on our team.

Responsibilities of 310T Mechanic

Inspect and diagnose commercial transport equipment having a strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, ignition, steering mechanisms, as well as emissions, suspension, electrical, A/C and fuel systems
Repair or replace parts and components of diagnosed issues
Test and adjust repaired units to meet company and industry standards
Perform scheduled maintenance services on commercial transport equipment according to company standards
Completing work orders and other shop forms once task is completed
Communicating effectively with service managers and other staff

Requirements

310T Truck and Coach Licence
Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Experience working in a shop environment and performing as a team player
Valid Driver’s Licence

Registered Apprentice - 310T Mechanic Program

We have been successful is assisting Apprentices successfully completing their Program with the required Supervision of our Licenced Technician on staff

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
