Full job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Lot Attendant and Cleaner to join our team. As a Lot Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our Travel Centre lot, Showers, Washrooms, Pumps, Carwash and store shelves and floor. This is a temporary part time job 2-3 days a week for a few months.

Duties:

Keep the Esso Travel Centre lot organized and clean
Checks parked trucks, trailers, cars and other vehicles within an allotted area to establish if a vehicle has been parked illegally or for too long.
Issues infringement notices and records details of time and location
Reports long time parked vehicles to city parking control.
Calls tow trucks to move illegally parked vehicles
Reports and organises the removal of abandoned vehicles
May give evidence in court if someone appeals the infringement notice
Coordinate with the service departments about vehicle organization
Keep clean all diesel and gas pumps, washrooms, carwash, store shelves and floor.
Shovel snow from Fuel tanks lids and side walks in winter time.

Qualifications:

- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers

- Bilingual skills are a plus

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Prior experience in a travel centre setting is beneficial
