Full job description

Automotive Technician / Journeyman Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced and certified Automotive Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide variety of automotive vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing to accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues.
Recommend appropriate repair solutions and communicate findings effectively.
Repair and replace worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components and systems.
Service and maintain brakes, engines, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Complete preventative maintenance services according to manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

Journeyman Automotive Technician Certification required.
Minimum of 10 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience.
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
