Overview

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Cabinet Finisher to join our manufacturing team. This role involves applying finishes, touch-ups, and quality checks to ensure our cabinets meet high standards of craftsmanship and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with various tools, and familiarity with manufacturing processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and safety are paramount.

Responsibilities

Apply stains, paints, or finishes to kitchen cabinets using air assisted spray guns
Perform sanding, buffing, and touch-up work to achieve a smooth, professional surface
Conduct quality inspections to ensure finishes meet company standards
Assist in sanding department
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Skills

Experience operating cup guns, and spray systems for applying primers, paints and lacquers.
Experience mixing chemicals (catalyst and thinners) to painted products
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during finishing processes
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
