Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring all items are stored properly after cleaning.
Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed.
Help maintain cleanliness in other areas of the kitchen, including countertops and floors.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Dispose of waste properly and assist in recycling efforts when applicable.

Requirements

Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
